Aside from providing manufacturing firms with new talent, our efforts also:
- Strengthened and expanded on CSTEC’s regional partnerships between automotive and advanced manufacturing sector employers and postsecondary institutions.
- Increased the quality and quantity of experiential learning opportunities for students in industrial training programs at community colleges.
- Shared best practices between networks of regional employers and colleges.
- Provided opportunities for students who, without support, might otherwise not consider a career in auto and advanced manufacturing.
